Seven (7) Principles of Prosperity

One year ago, the LORD gave me the assignment of writing this blog.  I started it and then I stopped, not sure of what direction this was taking me.  After much soul searching (which entailed alot of praying, crying, whining and complaining) I finally saw the way.  The LORD wants to share with you what he has shared with me on this road to prosperity.  First of all, inorder for you to take the journey, you must believe that God desires you to prosper. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3John:2 (NKJV)  Second, you must realize that there are seven (7) primary principles of prosperity.  Everything concerning your financial well being can be found in these seven princicples.  All seven principles can be found throughout the bible but you can find them listed altogether in Proverbs 31:10-31.  This is a well known passage of scripture titled the "Prosperous Woman" or in some text the "Virtuouse Woman".  She is the woman who has "arrived".   She embodies the perfection in which we all strive for no matter if your male or female or what your bank account balance is.  She has it all!  "Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all."

The seven (7) principles you find working in her life are:

1.  Finances -  She is trusted, she is a provider, she is a giver, she is wise in business and she is sought after and appreciated, because of this she profits.
2.  Education -  She considers her life and educates herself inorder to make wise decisions about business and family.
3.  Community - She understands that a thriving community is revelant to her life and it is necessary for her to be an active member for it to continue to thrive.
4.  Balance - She balances her life between business, community and family causing her children, her husband and the elders of the community to call her blessed and praise her name.
5.  Real Estate - She buys a field, makes a profit and plants a vineyard.  Every single person on the earth has an assignment to take dominion over a part of this earth.
6.  Health - She doesn't worry about bad weather, or any kind of calamity coming against her family, because she is well prepared.
7.  Worship - This is probably the most important principle.  She understands her relationship between herself and God.

I will be writing to you based on these 7 principles.  My writings will be a representation of spiritual truths based on these principles.  Do I have all of them working in my life?  No, but God has given me some fundamental truths concerning them, which I would like to share with you.  I want you to consider them the same way you consider a GPS system.  They are directions, it's up to you to follow.

I AM No Punk - The Story of the Fig Tree

"Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.  And seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again."  Immediately the fig tree withered away. " Matthew 21:18-19   When I first read this passage of scripture I felt sorry for the fig tree and then I marveled just as His disciples did on the power of Jesus.  That is as far as my revelation went, Jesus was powerful and the fig tree was dead, end of story.  Recently, I heard a minister preaching on this passage of scripture on how the fig tree failed to provide what it was purposed for.  This caused me to go back and read this passage of scripture again.  This time I saw something more.  This is how the story read to me this time. "Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.  And seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said ot it,  "Who do you think I am, a punk?  You think you can continue to live, taking up space, and fooling other passerbys just as you fooled me.  I trusted you, I relied on you to bear fruit.  You took what was provided and now that it is time for you to bear fruit, I find you barren.  Let no fruit grow on you ever again."  Immediately the fig tree withered away. " Wow, I was starting to see something here.  This is a story that can be applied to what is happening in our country concerning gas prices.  How you say?  Let me show you!  "Now in the morning, as I was driving to work, I realized I needed gas.  And seeing a gas station nearby I drove in and pulled up to a pump to fill my tank.  To my surprise I find out the price of gas has gone up and I am unable to fill my tank up to go to work.  I speak to those gas prices, "Who do you think I am, a punk?  You think you can continue to rise, making it impossible for me to get to work, creating hardships on myself and others?  I trusted the government to regulate and provide resources so that oil could be produced in this country.  I trusted the oil companies to take care of the needs of this country first.  I trusted wall street to use equal balances and not trust in speculators.  All of this was provided so that oil prices would be affordable to everyone.  Look how you have abused my trust.  No weapon formed against me shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against me in judgement I shall condemn.  This is my heritage and it is of God. (Isaiah 54:17 paraphased).  Immediately gas prices went down.  This is my story and it can be yours.  We are the body of Christ and He is depending on us to continue His work.  The same power that withered the fig tree, is the same power that resides in us.  When we speak God's word, things happen.  You might not see it immediately, but the atmosphere has changed (Read Quantum Faith by Annette Capps).  Speak to gas prices and you will see them come down!  High gas prices are a weapon that has been formed through an unjust system.  We must not be punked out by this!  Confess Isaiah 54:17 everytime you get gas or think about gas prices and join your faith with mine @ http://www.twitter.com/Christianoccupy .
